BSB Number Search
Find the BSB code for any bank branch in Australia
BSB (Bank State Branch) numbers are unique six-digit identifiers assigned to each branch of financial institutions in Australia. They are used when transferring funds between bank accounts domestically.
The Australian Payments Clearing Association (APCA) is responsible for assigning BSB codes. Each code identifies a specific bank and branch, enabling accurate routing of payments across the Australian banking network. As of the latest records, over 14,300 unique BSB codes are active.
We also store BIC (Bank Identifier Code) information, which helps identify banks and branches for international transactions.
Save on International Money Transfers
When you send or receive an international transfer with your bank, you might lose money on a bad exchange rate and pay hidden fees.
We recommend Wise (formerly TransferWise), which is usually much cheaper. A 1,000 EUR transfer to USD can cost as little as 4 EUR with Wise, compared to 28 EUR with a typical bank.
